Today went down to marina bay the floating gallery to watch the fireworks celebrations. I went with my family and we sat in the yellow area. Was almost in the middle so had quite a nice view. The starting time was at 830 so we went and had our dinner 1st before heading our way down to the floating gallery. The human traffic was moderate la so kinda happy tt there's nt a jam to go in. Wa! The steps were so freaking high la. Cuz 1 big step was broken up into 2 small steps. So it was really tiring to walk all the way up. My section was the 2nd last section from the back in the yellow area. Was very hot by the time we went to our seats. Had a nice view of the city skyline and the stage.1st we had dis guy from Canada to entertain us while we wait for the fireworks to start. Pretty funny la. Quite entertaining. He started at 8 and ended at 830. So i thought the fireworks gonna start already. Den the narrator informed us tt the fireworks is gonna start in 30mins time! Wa! 9pm lor. Den at 9pm haven start. Got a lady from Power98 and a guy from 883 Jia Fm as our emcees. They were giving away goody bags but haven to answer questions la. Den nvr even come to the back section. Lols.. There was dis game whereby they had a parent with their kid to go up onto stage. Got Team A & Team B. Den their kid have to name MRT stations 1 after another and there can only be a 5s pause if nt the other team win. Den the girl from Team A so cute la. Said Tio Mo Kio[Ang Mo Kio] Pa Le Ba[Paya Lebar] Lols.. Den the boy from Team B also very cute lor. Go say Brother[Braddell] Lols..Finally the fireworks started at abt 920pm. Today's fireworks' team was from China. Yesterday was Spain. It was 15mins long la, den very nice. Very colourful too. Got red green blue yellow pink violet and many many more...Den after it ended we waited awhile before going down cuz sure got human jam de. Den when we go down, wa still got jam. So we tried to find our way thru the crowd to the exit. Den wtf la. The sealed all the exit lor. If nt sure can clear very fast de. So we got to squeeze thru the bus stop. Thru the small entrance. Den hor. I finally know wad are Singaporeans good for liao. Pushing!!! I was pushed la. Lols.. Poor me. Den i just faster try and walk thru den don need to kena push liao. Breathe a sigh of relief after i managed to walk pass the "pushing area" Den made our way to the car park and made our way back. The jam was pretty bad too.Had a very fun time at the floating gallery watching the fireworks. Wish i can go again if there's another one.Leon(:
